“Hearts & Souls: An Exhibit of Solidarity” to benefit Ukraine war victims will open at the William Ris Gallery in Jamesport on April 30.

“Watching the news, I am reminded just how fortunate we all are. This is how we can help in a small but important way,” said William Ris Gallery owner Mary Cantone. “The artists have stepped up without hesitation to participate in this meaningful event. I couldn’t look away. It’s the right thing to do.”

A portion of the sales will go to Razom, a charity to benefit the victims of the war in Ukraine.

The event will feature over 30 artists and works of art such as Ukrainian artists Yevgenia Nayberg and Ilona Sochinski as well as Jane Kirkwood, Debbie Ma, Seung Lee, Dorothy Ganek, Wendy Prellwitz, Janet Culbertson, Will Ryan, Gina Gilmour, Susan M. Saunders, Margaret Minardi, Mike McLaughlin, Vaidehi Kinkhabwala, Louise Crandell, Nick Cordone, Anahi DeCanio, Keith Mantell, Rasa Valiene, Pat Dews, Scott Farrell, Jody Rawdin, Jane Hartley, Jim Slezak, Anna Jurinich, Steve Vando, Pat Feiler, Devon Reina, Marilyn Weiss, Maggie Cahoon, Andrea Minick Rudolph, Jessie Pollock, Erica Radich, Ty Stroudsburg, Larry Johnston, Isadora Capraro, Lautaro Cuttica, Franco Cuttica, Devin Cecil-Wishing, Carol Young, Doug Reina, Larry Johnston and Ralph Palamidessi.

The opening reception will be held on Saturday, April 30 from 4 to 7 p.m.
