Riverhead Town Police are investigating shots fired at a home in Millbrook Gables in two separate incidents during the past week.

Police said they were called to 36 Wilson Avenue at 2 a.m. Saturday for a report of multiple gunshots at the location. Responding officers determined that multiple gunshots were fired at the home from occupants of a vehicle that stopped in front of it, according to a police press release. The shots struck the house but no injuries were reported, police said. The make and model of the vehicle are unknown.

Detectives later learned that an additional incident involving shots fired at the same residence occurred on Wednesday, June 15, but was not reported to police at the time, according to the press release. The shots fired during that incident damaged the home and a vehicle parked outside, but no injuries were reported, police said.

Both shooting incidents are currently under investigation, police said.  Police urge anyone with information regarding this matter to contact the Riverhead Police Department Detective Division at (631)727-4500.  All calls will be kept confidential, police said.
