Children in kindergarten through eighth grade can be registered for the Riverhead PAL girls or boys lacrosse teams until Dec. 12.
Parents may fill out the forms for the girls’ or boys’ team via the Town of Riverhead website. The forms will also be available at the PAL Office vestibule at 210 Howell Avenue in Riverhead.
Registration may be completed online with a Town of Riverhead account or during in-person registration to be held on Thursday, Dec. 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Riverhead Senior Center at 60 Shade Tree Lane in Riverhead.
Registration and full uniform will cost $118 for Riverhead residents or $128 for non-residents. Payments may be made by check or money order payable to Riverhead PAL. The league also requires a copy of the players’ birth certificate.
Practice for both teams will be held in the Riverhead area during weekday evenings starting in early March.
The boys team will play eight games on Saturdays or Sundays throughout Suffolk County starting on March 25 or 26 through May 20 or 21. No game will be held on April 8 or 9.
The girls team will play eight games on Sundays throughout Suffolk County starting on March 25 through May 21. No game will be held on April 9.
