Students in kindergarten through fourth grade can learn about the science of superheroes through the Southampton Youth Bureau’s Discovery Club on Wednesdays from Feb. 8 through April 26 at the Flanders Youth Center.
The ten sessions will be held every Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. beginning on Feb. 8 through April 26 — except for Feb. 22 and April 12.
The club will explore questions such as: Is it possible to have super human strength and can spiderwebs support the weight of a person? Participants will conduct experiments and create projects to answer these questions.
The program costs $25 for the ten sessions. Required pre-registration and payment can be completed by visiting the bureau’s website or calling (631)702-2425.
