Children in first through sixth grade can participate in the “Dance with Project Leap” program hosted by Southampton Youth Bureau and Peconic Ballet Theater beginning on Thursday, March 16 from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
The program will be lead by professional dance instructors from the Peconic Ballet Theater who will teach hip-hop and ballet dances. The classes aim to encourage exercise, confidence, building creativity and having fun. Previous experience is not necessary to join.
The classes will be held on Thursdays from March 16 through June 15 from — except on April 13. The program costs $125 and pre-registration is required by completing the form on the Southampton Town Youth Bureau website.
