A Flanders man was arrested on a charge of Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated after a crash at Flanders Road and Wood Road Trail last night, according to Southampton Town Police.
The crash occurred at about 6 p.m., police said. Responding officers determined that the operator of one of the involved vehicles was intoxicated, police said in a press release. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash, police said.
Police arrested Julio R. Luna-Luna, age 30, and charged him with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a felony, due to a prior conviction, according to the press release. Luna-Luna was also charged with several traffic infractions, police said. He was transported to Southampton Town Police Headquarters where he was processed and held for morning arraignment, police said.
