Artists are encouraged to submit their interpretation of “Hope & Recovery” to the art contest hosted by the Town of Southampton Youth Bureau and East End Thrive until May 19.

Selected artwork will be exhibited at the Southampton Cultural Center on Friday, June 2 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Prizes will be warded to the best art pieces in age categories of 10 to 13, 14 to 18 and 19 to 25.

Participants must be aged between 10 and 25 and reside or attend school within the Town of Southampton. Artwork will be judged on quality, creativity, presentation and interpretation of the theme “Hope & Recovery.”

Up to two entries per artist must be dropped off at the Flanders Youth Center — 655 Flanders Road — or East End Thrive — 110 Mill Road Suites A & B — by Friday, May 19. Art submissions include photography, graphic art, sculpture and free-hand. For the registration form, visit the Southampton Youth Bureau website.

For more information, call the Southampton Youth Bureau at (631)702-2425 or East End Thrive at (631)334-1723.
