Excerpts from Riverhead Town Justice Court docket for the week of March 27 2023, Justice Lori Hulse presiding. There were 367 criminal and traffic cases on the court’s docket. Convictions reported here are misdemeanors or felonies and do not include violations, unless resulting from a charge of a misdemeanor or felony, or traffic infractions. Most felony cases are removed to Suffolk County Criminal Court for prosecution and are not included in this report.
McCoy, Dawn, 44, of Holtsville, charged on Sept.11, 2022 with Driving While Intoxicated, pleaded guilty on March 27 to Driving While Ability Impaired and was sentenced to a one-year conditional discharge and fined $760.
Trent Jr., Melvin, 30, charged on March 2, 2023 with Menacing in the Second Degree and Harassment in the Second Degree, and on March 20 with Robbery in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree, pleaded guilty on March 27 to Menacing in the Second Degree. He was released on his own recognizance, pending a presentencing investigation and ordered to return to court on June 6.
