Excerpts from Riverhead Town Justice Court docket for the month of May 2023, Justice Lori Hulse and Justice Sean Walter presiding. Convictions reported here are misdemeanors or felonies and do not include violations, unless resulting from a charge of a misdemeanor or felony, or traffic infractions. Most felony cases are removed to Suffolk County Criminal Court for prosecution and are not included in this report.

Ajcuc-Perez, Alan J., 23, pleaded guilty on May 30 to Driving While Intoxicated on Jan. 1, and was sentenced by Judge Walter to three years probation and fined $1,400.

Booker, Ebony, 32, pleaded guilty on May 15 to two Petit Larceny charges and was sentenced by Judge Walter to 60 days on each, to be served concurrently, and fined $300 for each.

Shamble-Suruy, Marco, 42, pleaded guilty on May 15 to Driving While Intoxicated on Oct. 31, 2021 and was sentenced by Judge Walter to three years probation.

Cun-Chipix, Maximillino, 45, pleaded guilty on May 9 to Driving While Intoxicated on March 8, 2020 and was sentenced by Judge Hulse to a conditional discharge and a $1,400 fine.

Gayles, John N., 63, was fined $225 by Judge Hulse on his conviction for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree on Jan. 23, 2023.

Hubbard, Nivek K., 30, pleaded guilty on May 9 to two Petit Larceny charges and received a conditional discharge and was assessed a surcharge of $205 on each.

Lopez-Cano, Margarito, 39, pleaded guilty on May 1 to Driving While Intoxicated on Aug. 10, 2022 and was sentenced by Judge Walter to three years probation and fined $1,400.

Mallemuth, Micki, 38, placed guilty on May 16 to two Petit Larceny charges on Sept. 2, 2022, and was sentenced to one year interim probation and fined $250 on each.

Martinez-Garcia, Manuel D., 45, pleaded guilty on May 8 to Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated on July 9, 2022 and was sentenced by Judge Hulse to three years probation, a required interlock device and required Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor for one year, and fined $2,500.

McCoy, Larry, 63, pleaded guilty on May 31 to Driving While Intoxicated and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance on March 26 and was sentenced by Judge Walter to a conditional discharge and fined $1,260.

Nowak, James R., 43, pleaded guilty to May 15 to Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fifth Degree on April 19 and was sentenced by Judge Walter to four months in jail.

Pelayes-Dugon, Brandon O., 28, pleaded guilty on May 16 to Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated and was sentenced by Judge Sean Walter to one year interim probation.

Quinteros, Ruth, 28, pleased guilty on May 31 to Aggravated Driving while Intoxicated on Feb. 112, 2022 and was sentenced by Judge Walter to one year conditional discharge.

Ramon-Farez, Carlos F., 24, pleaded guilty on May 1 to Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated on Aug. 18, 2022 and was sentenced by Judge Walter to three years probation.

Rooney, Heather, 47, pleaded guilty on May 9 to Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree on on April 25, and received a conditional discharge and assessed a surcharge of $205.

Rottkamp, Brett, 39, pleaded guilty on May 31 to Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated on Aug. 20, 2022, and was sentenced by Judge Walter three years probation and fined $1,400.

Salazar-Flores, Felix, 35, pleaded guilty on May 15 to Driving While Intoxicated and was sentenced by Judge Walter to one-year interim probation.

Sierra-Esteban, Claudio, 32, pleaded guilty on May 9 to Driving While Intoxicated on Dec. 31, 2020 and was sentenced by Judge Hulse to a one-year conditional discharge.

Shabazz, Zhaneera J., 21, of Flanders, charged on June 15, 2021 with Assault in the Second Degree, pleaded guilty on May 3 to Harassment in the Second Degree and was fined $250 by Judge Walter.

Veliz-Ortiz, Mario, 58, pleaded guilty on May 31 to Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated on Aug. 27, 2022 and was sentenced by Judge Walter to three years probation and a $1,400 fine
