Police released this photo of Felix Alexander, 40, a resident of a Riverhead group home who left the facility on Thursday afternoon and hasn't returned. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 631-727-4500.

The Riverhead Police Department is requesting the public’s help in locating a missing adult.

Felix Alexander, a 40-year-old male left the Concern for Independent Living facility, 260 West Main Street in Riverhead, at approximately 5 p.m. on Sept. 8 and has failed to return.

Alexander is described as a black male with a dark complexion, 6 feet tall, 220 pounds, last seen wearing a black jacket and black pants.

Alexander is believed to have traveled into the NYC area as he has done so in the past.

He is currently on medication, though he is not believed to be in any danger.

If anyone has any information on his whereabouts, they are asked to contact Riverhead Police at 631-727-4500.
