A total of 86 incidents were reported by Riverhead Town Police on Sept. 21, 2023. Among them:

12:38 a.m. Domestic Incident, Sweezey Avenue, Riverhead. A person was arrested on charges of criminal contempt and harassment.

9:45 a.m. Larceny, Target, Old Country Road, Riverhead. Two notices of trespass were signed.

12:09 p.m. Graffiti, Grangebel Park, Peconic Avenue, Riverhead. Graffiti was discovered at the location.

12:18 p.m. Motor Vehicle Stop, King Kullen, Route 25a, Wading River. A person was arrested on charges of third-degree rape, third-degree criminal sex act, and endangering the welfare of a child.

3:32 p.m. Property Lost/Stolen, Albert Home, West Main Street, Riverhead.

3:54 p.m. Illegal Dumping, Line Road, Manorville. An abandoned boat was impounded.

5:25 p.m. Motor Vehicle Stop, Brook Street, Riverhead. A person was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

5:57 p.m. Criminal Mischief, Long View Road, Wading River. An investigation of criminal mischief was conducted.

8:30 p.m. Arrest, 7 Eleven Store, Old Country Road, Riverhead. A person was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant.

9:21 p.m. Criminal Mischief, Fine Fare, Old Country Road, Riverhead. A person was arrested on charges of reckless endangerment.

11:03 p.m. Domestic Incident, Sunrise Avenue, Riverhead. A person was arrested, processed, and held for morning arraignment.
