A total of 84 incidents were reported by Riverhead Town Police on Sep. 30, 2023. Among them:

11:35 a.m. Larceny, Herod Point Road. A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

11:50 a.m. Larceny, Walmart, Old Country Road, Riverhead. Several individuals were notified of trespassing.

1:55 p.m. Arrest, Peconic Avenue, Riverhead. A person was arrested and transported to the county jail.

2:38 p.m. Larceny, Riverhead High School, Harrison Avenue, Riverhead. A phone was reported missing from the location.

8:25 p.m. Incident, Sound Avenue, Riverhead. A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

10:50 p.m. Town code violation, Old Country Road, Riverhead. A town code violation was reported and a warning was issued.
