Margaret F. Andruski (Cioci) of Burke, Virginia, formerly of Riverhead, died on Nov. 18, 2023, at Luxor Nursing Home. She was 77.
Born in Riverhead on Jan. 19, 1946, to Edward Andruski and Alice Dunko, she was a graduate of Riverhead High School and Suffolk County Community College. She spent her career working for the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington, D.C., before transitioning to Covington and Burling LLP, also in Washington, D.C.
She lived in Riverhead from 1946 to 1970 before moving to Burke, where she resided for 41 years.
She is survived by her nieces, Amanda Dangelmaier of Riverhead and Lisa Lobasso of Selden; nephew, Shane Psaltis of Aquebogue; brother-in-law, Arthur Dangelmaier of Aquebogue; and sister-in-law, Theresa Dangelmaier of Aquebogue.
Visiting hours will be held on Nov. 22, 2023. A graveside ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery in Riverhead.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Margaret Andruski.
