A Women’s History Month brunch honoring Dr. Marilyn McLaughlin, hosted by her brother Mark MK McLaughlin at Barilla’s Pastaria Restaurant & Bar (Insatiable Eats), 300 East Main St., Riverhead.

Marilyn McLaughlin is a physician specializing in hematology/oncology who previously lived in Flanders and practiced medicine in Riverhead, where she served on the board of directors of Peconic Bay Medical Center. Always dedicated to community service, McLaughlin is a member of Rotary International and served the Rotary Club of Riverhead as its president. She relocated to York, Maine and is a past president of the Rotary Club of York and Rotary’s assistant governor for Southern Maine. She is currently a member of the York Selectboard, the governing body of the town, having been first elected to office in 2019.
