More than 5.5 million COVID-19 doses have been administered in New York State so far, the governor said yesterday. Vaccination progress, coupled with declining COVID testing positivity and hospitalization rates led the governor to ease occupancy restrictions on restaurants outside of New York City, beginning March 19.

The town is continuing to preregister seniors for the next shipment of vaccine doses, which the supervisor said she expects will be allocated by the state in the next week or two.
