M&T has obtained all regulatory approvals for its acquisition of People's United in an all-stock transfer valued at $7.6 billion. The closing is expected to take place on or about April 1.

A 47-year-old male pedestrian was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle on West Main Street Wednesday evening.

9. Blue Waves commemorate 10-year anniversary of championship season with alumnae basketball game.

The Lady Blue Waves alumnae will host the Bellport Lady Clippers Alumnae at Riverhead High School on Friday, April 1, starting at 7 p.m. Proceeds from the event will go to support the Riverhead Girls Basketball Booster Club.
