TOWN OF RIVERHEAD
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Riverhead, Suffolk County, New York, will meet in the Town Hall, in Riverhead, New York, in said Town, on December 1, 2020, at 2:05 o’clock P.M., Prevailing Time, for the purpose of conducting a public hearing upon a certain map, plan and report, including an estimate of cost, in relation to the proposed increase and improvement of the facilities of Riverhead Public Parking District in said Town, being improvements to various parking lots, including original equipment, and incidental improvements and expenses in connection therewith, at a maximum estimated cost of $725,917.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that in accordance with the directive of Executive Order 202.1 issued by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, the meeting will be held without in-person attendance by the public. Instead the public will have an opportunity to participate during the Town Board meeting using Zoom to offer their comments and/or questions regarding this public hearing before the Town Board. Zoom sign in credentials will be posted prior to the Town Board meeting. All written correspondence is accepted by the Town Clerk’s Office.
The project described above has been determined to be a “Type II Action” pursuant to the regulations promulgated under the State Environmental Quality Review Act (“SEQRA”) which such regulations provide will not result in any significant adverse environmental impact.
At said public hearing said Town Board will hear all persons interested in the subject matter thereof.
