NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given that on behalf of the Riverhead Water District, the Town Board of the Town of Riverhead will receive bids for MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES CONTRACTS at the Town Clerk’s office, Town Hall, 200 Howell Avenue, Riverhead, New York 11901, by 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for:
MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES PROJECT NO. RDWD2003 (M)
Specifications may be examined and obtained on or after November 12, 2020 by visiting the Town of Riverhead website: http://townofriverheadny.gov and click on “Bid Requests”. Plans and specifications are available in electronic format only from the aforementioned website.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, made payable to the TOWN OF RIVERHEAD, in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, as a commitment by the bidder that if its bid is accepted, it will enter into a contract to perform the work and will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality, and to accept such bid which, in the opinion of the Owner, is in the best interest of the Owner.
