PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held before the Town Board of the Town of Riverhead at 200 Howell Avenue, Riverhead, New York on the 15th day of November, 2022 at 6:05 p.m. to consider a local law to amend Chapter 301 entitled “Zoning and Land Development” of the Riverhead Town Code.
Be it enacted by the Town Board of the Town of Riverhead as follows:

Article XXXIX. Planned Industrial Park (PIP) Zoning Use District
§ 301-185. Uses.
B.
Special permit uses:
(1) Outdoor/indoor sports and recreation facility.
C. Accessory uses. Accessory uses shall include those uses customarily incidental and subordinate to and in furtherance of any of the aforementioned principal uses when located within the PIP District. Accessory uses shall be for the sole use of the employees, tenants and the business invitees to the industrial park and not for use by the general public and shall include the following:
(5) Retail sales stores for the sale of books, beverages, confections, drugs, dry goods, flowers, foodstuffs, gifts, jewelry, periodicals, photo supplies, stationery and tobacco located within buildings housing permitted uses and shall be limited to no more than 5 percent of the gross floor area of the permitted use, not to exceed 1,500 sq. ft, whichever is less.
