TOWN OF RIVERHEAD
NOTICE OF ADOPTION
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Riverhead adopted a local law amending Chapter 105 entitled “Boards, Commissions and Councils”, of the Riverhead Town Code at its meeting held on November 19, 2019.
Be it enacted by the Town Board of the Town of Riverhead as follows:
Chapter 105. Boards, Commissions and Councils
Article IX. Landmarks Preservation Commission
§ 105-45. Powers and duties.
The Landmarks Preservation Commission shall have the powers and duties granted by this article and Chapter 241, Landmarks and Historic Districts, which shall include:
B. To review and make recommendations to act on behalf of the Town Board on applications for alterations to residential structures which have been designated as landmarks.
C. To review and make recommendations act on behalf of the Town Board on alterations or demolitions of designated structures within an historic district, which are not part of a site plan application.
