TOWN OF RIVERHEAD

NOTICE OF ADOPTION

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Town Board of the Town of Riverhead adopted a local law to amend Chapter 301 of the Riverhead Town Code entitled, “Zoning and Land Development – Article LII Commercial Solar Energy Production Systems” at its regular meeting held on August 7, 2018.

Be it enacted by the Town Board of the Town of Riverhead as follows:

Part 3. Supplementary Regulations

Article LII: Commercial Solar Energy Production Systems

• 301-283. Definitions.

1. Notwithstanding Article LVIof this chapter, the fee for new site plan applications for commercial solar energy production systems shall be a flat fee of $3,000, and the fee for an amendment to a site plan application for commercial solar energy production systems shall be $2,000.
2. The fee for site plan applications for commercial solar energy production systems shall be calculated and paid as provided under Section 301-305 G of this chapter.
