PUBLIC NOTICE
Pursuant to Section 267 of the Town Law a Public Hearing will be held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Riverhead, Suffolk County, New York on October 11, 2018 at the Riverhead Town Hall, 200 Howell Avenue, Riverhead, New York, not before the time shown below on each of the following appeals:
7:00pm, prevailing time,Appeal No. 2018-050–Peconic Bay Medical Center-1300 Roanoke Avenue, Riverhead–SCTM No. 600-108-3-22.1–H Zoning–for variances and/or relief from Chapter 301 Section 250 F(1) where two secondary wall signs are proposed, and the maximum permitted is one per façade; Section 250 F(2) where the proposed secondary wall signs (banners along Old Country Road) are 310.5 square feet and proposed secondary wall sign (banner along Roanoke Ave.) is 400 square feet, and the maximum permitted is 150 square feet.
7:00pm, prevailing time,Appeal No. 2018-051–Riverhead Islamic Center, Inc.–751 Harrison Avenue, Riverhead–SCMT No. 600-102-3-21 & 22–RA40 Zoning–for variances and/or relief from Chapter 301 Section 34 where the proposed impervious surface is 64.8% of the total lot area, and the maximum allowed is 15%.
7:00pm, prevailing time,Appeal No. 2018-052–Richard Miller–268 Old Farm Road, Riverhead–SCTM No. 600-64-2-7.37–RA40 Zoning-for variances and/or relief from Chapter 301 Section 9 A(1)(c) where the proposed detached garage setback is 4 feet and the minimum required is 10 feet.
Any person desiring to be heard on the above mentioned appeals should appear at the specified time and place.
Zoning Board of Appeals work session begins at 6:30 P.M. in the office of the Town of Riverhead Planning Department.
