TOWN OF RIVERHEAD-PUBLIC NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that a public hearing will be held before the Town Board of the Town of Riverhead, at 200 Howell Avenue, Riverhead, New York on the 2nd day of March, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. to amend Chapter 105 of the Riverhead Town Code entitled, “Boards, Commissions and Councils” as follows:
Article XI. Open Space/Park Preserve Committee
§ 105-51. Membership; appointments; terms. The Town of Riverhead Open Space/Park Preserve Committee shall consist of five members from the community at large appointed by the Town Board for staggered two-year terms,. plus two nonvoting advisory members, one member from the Recreation Committee and one member from the Conservation Advisory Council. A Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of the Committee shall be elected from the members of the Committee for a term of one year. No Committee member shall succeed himself/herself as Chairperson/Vice Chairperson more than three consecutive terms.
