The Blue Waves fought hard but fell to Smithtown East in Saturday's game at Coach Mike McKillop Memorial Field.

The North Babylon Bulldogs overwhelmed the Riverhead Blue Waves during yesterday's season opener at Riverhead High School, shutting down the home team 43-0.

The Riverhead Blue Waves came up short in Dix Hills yesterday, where the Half Hollow Hills West Colts handed the defending Suffolk County champs their first loss of the 2014 season, 42-28.
