In decades-old tradition, Riverhead cops adopt local families for the holidays
Riverhead's finest are playing Santa today. In an annual tradition going back more than 20 years, Riverhead PBA members adopted 18 families and are providing them with complete turkey dinners with all the trimmings, plus gifts for a total of 40 kids.
