Paddle Battle Long Island

Paddle Battle, an annual competition for paddle board, kayak and canoe enthusiasts to raise funds for the New York Marine Rescue Center, took place on the Peconic River in Riverhead Saturday.

The New York Marine Rescue Center will host Paddle Battle LI Saturday, July 27, at the Peconic River in Riverhead.

The fifth annual Paddle Battle LI will pit stand up paddle board and kayak racers against each other in various categories. Proceeds from the event benefit three organizations.
