Rain, wind and full moon bring potential for major coastal flooding Monday morning
Rain, strong winds and a full moon will converge to create the potential for major coastal flooding — up to 3 feet above ground — along the Peconic Bay and the Peconic Riverfront during the high tide cycle Monday morning, according to the National Weather Service. A coastal flood watch is in effect.
