Riverhead school district to file notice of claim against town over tax money
The town has not paid more than $4.2 million owed to the school district in 2019-2020 tax revenues collected on behalf of the district. That's the town's procedure, said Supervisor Yvette Aguiar, who attacked the district's fiscal "mismanagement" and what she said was its "lack of transparency."
