American Pickers has picked Riverhead for its next filming location – and they are on the hunt for items to feature on the show.

The popular History Channel television series will begin filming in locations throughout New York next month, according to a Riverhead Chamber of Commerce message to its members. They will be stopping in at Riverhead, and stars Mike Wolfe and Frank Fitz are searching for antique and novelty items from local residents.

Some of the “interesting and unique” items they are looking for include:

  • Vintage bicycles
  • Toys
  • Unusual radios
  • Movie memorabilia
  • Advertising
  • Military items
  • Folk Art
  • Vintage musical equipment
  • Vintage automotive items
  • Early firefighting equipment
  • Vintage clothing
  • Pre-50s western gear

Those interested in sharing a collection should email their name, phone number, address and a description of the collection with photos to americanpickers@cineflix.com or call 1-855-OLD-RUST.

American Pickers is a History Channel reality television show that follows two antique and novelty collectors around the country.
