Southampton Town Police are seeking the public’s help to identify a man who was struck and killed by a vehicle on Flanders Road at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

The man was described as a Hispanic man, 5’-1” tall, 149 lbs., black hair, brown eyes. He is believed to reside somewhere in the Flanders area, police said.

He was hit by a vehicle in the westbound lane of Flanders Road at Cypress Avenue in the vicinity of the 7-Eleven, police said. The vehicle stayed at the scene, according to police. The man was treated at the scene by the Flanders Northampton Volunteer Ambulance and transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.

Anyone with information pertaining to the unknown Hispanic male is requested to contact the Southampton Town Police Department Detective Dvision at 631-702-2230.
