Despite a solid team effort, Riverhead fell to Ward Melville yesterday, 7-5.

Both offense and defense played hard for the Waves, with Jacob Coleman as goaltender making several brilliant saves throughout, but it just wasn’t enough to overcome Patriots.

Riverhead will next play at home on April 28 against Bay Shore. The game will begin at 11 a.m.
