An emergency blood appeal has been issued for all blood types as supplies have dipped below the “Emergency Safety Level.”
The blood drive will be held at the Riverhead Fire Department Headquarters on
Tuesday June 7 from 1 – 7 p.m.
The following criteria apply to donors:
16 -year-olds require parent’s permission
Must have valid ID
Minimum weight 110 lbs.
Between 16 and 76 years of age
No tattoos in the past 12 months
