There is an emergency shortage of blood in our area. Donations are down but the need is still there. The Flanders Fire Department and the Flanders-Riverside-Northampton Community Association are hosting a blood drive on Monday, July 11 at Flanders Fire Department headquarters, 19 Firehouse Lane in Flanders from 2 to 8 p.m.
All donors will be entered into a raffle for a Family 4 pack of Mets tickets. All donors will receive a reusable tote bag complements of the Flanders Fire Department.
Donors must be between 16 and 75 years of age (over 75 need a doctor’s note), weigh at least 110 pounds, and must not have had a tattoo within the past 12 months. Bring photo ID. Please eat well and drink fluids before donating.
