Can you imagine how much fun a family can have together learning all about seals? Find out in this exploratory interactive program which investigates the similarities and differences between seals and humans.
The Southampton Youth Bureau and the Children’s Museum of the East End will be co-sponsoring nine sessions of “Science Connections” on Thursdays at the Flanders Youth Center, 655 Flanders Rd from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Children ages 5 to 9 will work together with a parent/guardian to learn about the similarities and differences between humans and seals through hands-on experiments. At the end of the semester, students will go on a boat trip.
Science Connections is free but pre-registration is required. For more information, please call (631) 702-2425 or click here.
