You can be a superhero in your hometown. And two local civic associations are going to make it easy for you by running a Blood Drive.
Flanders Fire Department and the Flanders, Riverside & Northhampton Community Association are co-sponsoring a Community Blood Drive on January 7, 2017 from 1 to 7 p.m. at the FFD headquarters.
When you donate blood, you can save up to three lives according the American Red Cross. And every two seconds, someone in the United States needs a blood donation. Your donation might fill that need.
All blood donors will receive hot soup, a hero sandwich and a free McDonald’s sandwich coupon.
