Three bands will rock the Elks Lodge on Saturday, March 4 in a fundraising tribute to Riverhead’s veterans.

The Pamela Betti Band, Joe Hampton & The Kingpins and Mike Ryan & Friends will make another appearance at the lodge. Last year’s successful event raised $2,500 to help local vets.

The Elks donated the proceeds from the 2016 event to Suffolk County United Veterans, which has its main office on Roanoke Avenue, a group dedicated to helping homeless veterans achieve housing and economic stability. It works to provide emergency shelter, transitional housing, permanent housing and senior housing to veterans living in the county. It owns seven houses in the community and operate two food pantries, serving more than 100 people. (See prior story here.)

Tickets are $20. Admission includes the live music, dancing and hors d’oeuvres. To purchase tickets call the Elks Lodge at 727-2027 or stop in at 4-C’s Deli on the corner of Northville Turnpike and Elton Street. All money raised will go toward Riverhead’s veterans.

The event will start at 7 p.m.
