Everybody’s Irish at the Riverhead Lions Club annual corned beef and cabbage dinner. There are bagpipers, Irish dancers, Irish music and loads of smiling eyes at the civic group’s fundraiser for its scholarship fund and for its perpetual giving pledge to New Beginnings’ Brendan House. And of course, there’s a 50/50 raffle for that proverbial pot of gold.

The dinner is scheduled for March 18 at 6 p.m. at Polish Hall. Tickets are $22 for adults, $18 for seniors and $14 for children 10 and under. In past years, the hall has been packed with hundreds of diners feasting on corned beef, cabbage, boiled potatoes and carrots. Green and white balloons festooned the room adding to the Gaelic atmosphere.

Tickets are limited – to purchase them visit Barth’s Drug Store, 32 East Main Street 631-727-2125 or the law office of Peter Danowski, 616 Roanoke Avenue 631-727-4900.
