A three-car crash on East Main Street sent two people to Peconic Bay Medical Center Friday morning.
No one was seriously injured in the crash.
A driver headed eastbound on Elton Street ran a red light at the intersection of East Main Street Friday morning, entering traffic and colliding with an Optimum service van, according to police.
The van then skidded around and hit a Kia driving in the opposite direction on East Main Street, police said.
Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance Corps transported the drivers of the Honda and the Kia to Peconic Bay Medical Center, police said.
Traffic was briefly closed on Fairway Avenue and in the eastbound lane of East Main Street. No tickets have been issued at this time.
