The Riverhead Faculty and Community Theater will showcase the talents of local amateur thespians when it presents the charming “Legally Blond, the Musical” next month at Riverhead High School’s auditorium.

Directed by Laura Nitti and produced by Gretchen Chapman, the musical is the story of Elle Woods, a sorority girl who enrolls in Harvard Law School to avenge being dumped by her insensitive boyfriend. The plot follows her trials and tribulations as she struggles and overcomes her difficulties understanding legalese.

The show dates are September 15 at 7 p.m., September 16 at 1 and 7 p.m. and September 17 at 1 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for students and are available here. Tickets can also be purchased from cast members or at the door. Presale tickets come with a Pink Pledge Pass granting tickets holders early entrance to the show and additional benefits.
