The Flanders, Riverside and Northampton Community Association is planning a 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, Oct. 15. The race will be held at Suffolk County Community College’s Eastern Campus rain or shine.
Check-in and registration is from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the college. The pre-registration fee for the race is $20 per person. Day of race registration is $30. Fees cover T-shirts (guaranteed to first one hundred registrants), the post-race award ceremony, a post-race raffle, water, food and refreshments and medical aid.
The race will be timed by http://www.itsyourrace.com/. Awards will be given in the following categories: top male and female overall, top 3 male and top 3 female in each category: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over and, top wheelchair racer.
