The Flanders, Riverside, Northampton Civic Association will host a speaker from Peconic Bay Medical Center’s Cancer Peer Educators at its next meeting. The speaker will offer free information about breast and prostate cancer to attendees.

The workshop is geared for men and women between 50 and 74 years old whether or not they have insurance. The information will be given in both English and Spanish.

The meeting will be held Monday, Marcy 12 at 7 p.m. at the Crohan Center in Flanders. The center is located at 655 Flanders Road.

The event is free and open to all members of the community.
