The Blue Waves celebrated senior day with a blowout 20-7 win over North Babylon yesterday.
Scoring came very easily for a skilled Riverhead squad, passing and setting up down low and executing plays with ease. The Waves took a 10-3 lead into the half. A brief defensive lapse in the second half allowed the Bulldogs to score three straight goals, but Riverhead settled down and went on to score another 10 before it was over. North Babylon was only able to put one more on the board. Riverhead wound down the clock and finished with a big Senior Day win.
The Waves’ next home game is Tuesday, May 7, at 4:30 p.m.
