Downtown Riverhead’s Alive on 25 summer street festival — the second in the 2018 season — takes place this evening beginning at 5 o’clock.
The event offers live music and dancing in the street, food served up by Main Street restaurants and a variety of food trucks and vendors, craft beers and Long Island wines, a classic car show and plenty of activities for kids.
There is no admission fee for the popular Main Street festival, which has drawn thousands of visitors to downtown Riverhead in its first two summer seasons.
The musical lineup for tonight’s event includes:
YogaPants @ Cliff’s Rendevous
Modern Justice @ Digger’s Ales n’ Eats
Ninjas Need Money @ One For The Road Event Services/Seaside Grill
Gallagher Brothers @ Long Ireland Brewery
Mike Ryan & Friends @ Tweeds
Mean Machine @ PeraBell Food Bar
Gene Casey & The Lone Sharks @ Jamesport Farm Brewery
The Alive on 25 Arts Stage features area singer-songwriters and poets in an intimate setting on the East End Arts grounds, surrounded by local visual artists creating their work live, displaying both finished art, and work in progress.
