Supervisor Laura Jens-Smith will hold a “listening tour” session in Wading River on March 12.
The meeting is intended to give residents a chance to discuss local issues in their own neighborhood and ask the supervisor questions, according to a press release issued by the supervisor.
The session will take place at Wading River Congregational Church, 2057 North Country Road, Wading River, beginning at 6 p.m.
Jens-Smith has held two prior town hall-style events, in Aquebogue and Riverhead. The meeting in Wading River, previously scheduled for Feb. 12, was postponed due to inclement weather.
