North Fork Environmental Council will hold an Earth Day 5K race/walk Sunday, April 28, at Indian Island County Park.

Registration and sign in will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a race start time of 10 a.m.

Those who register by April 13 will pay an “early bird fee” of $20 per runner. After April 13, the fee will be $25 and $30 the day of the race. Those who register early will receive a canvas reusable bag while supplies last.

Proceeds will benefit scholarships for two local graduating seniors that plan to study environmental studies in college.
