Riverhead students and families participated in a ‘Full STEAM Ahead’ escape room Parent University March 19 at the high school.
Attendees navigated through several classrooms solving STEAM (science, technology, engineering, the arts and math) puzzles to get a code and unlock a mystery lockbox.
The event aimed to engage students and families as well as showcase the district’s STEAM program.
Additional workshops and seminars are planned for later in the school year.
