Riverhead Middle School students who participated in Stony Brook University’s Health Careers Academic Readiness and Excellence (HCARE) program received certificates of recognition at the regular Board of Education meeting May 14.
The students heard from researchers, scientists and professionals in the health care industry and learned about the college application process, time/stress management, team building, study habits and community service.
