Four people were arrested as a result of an enforcement action in Riverhead last night by the Suffolk County District Attorney’s East End DWI Task Force, Riverhead Police said in a press release this morning.
Members of the Riverhead Police Department, Suffolk County Police Department, and New York State Police, conducted increased enforcement throughout the Town of Riverhead, where several checkpoints were established throughout the evening.
The following people were arrested and charged during the enforcement:
-Noe F. Ochoa-Morales, 30, of Riverhead, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
-Tomasz Zalewski, 30, of Riverhead, was charged with Driving While under the Influence of Drugs and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
-Candace L. Calamusa, 41, of South Setauket, was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated.
-Marvin F. Perez-Velasquez, 39, of Riverhead, NY was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
All four subjects were transported to the Riverhead Police Department where they were processed and held for morning arraignment.
Similar enforcement details are scheduled to continue throughout the year, police said.
