Thirteen musicians from Riverhead High School have been selected to perform in prestigious music festivals at the state and county levels. These talented students were chosen based on their performances at the New York State School Music Association Solo Evaluation Festival last spring.
Nine of these students were selected for both the NYSSMA All-State Music Festival and the New York State Council of Administrators of Music Education’s All-County Music Festival. They include Laura Allen, Lydia Bilski, Nate Bolkermann, Lauren Enos, William Green, Sarah Jordan, Lily Kutner, Ethan Lucas and Madison Payne. Quinn Bailey and Gabriela Vogel were chosen for All-County, as well. Bolkermann, Emily Flores and Paris Garcia-Kayel were selected to perform in the Long Island String Festival Association Secondary Concert.
The Riverhead Central School District congratulates each of these students on their musical accomplishments.
