Riverhead Middle School students Ella Kaparos and Christian Vande Wettering were recently bestowed with the Attorney General’s Triple “C” Award.

Riverhead Middle School students Ella Kaparos and Christian Vande Wettering were awarded the NYS Attorney General’s Triple “C” Award on March 23.

“We are so proud of these Pulaski graduates,” said Pulaski Street Principal Patrick Burke. “We wanted to honor them and extend our congratulations.”

The award recognizes students who portray the three Cs of leadership: courage, character and commitment.

“These students provide us with hope for a brighter future,” said Attorney General Letitia James.

Kaparos and Wettering earned the award in March 2020 as sixth graders in Pulaski Street Elementary School but the ceremony was delayed due to COVID-19.
